INTEGRATION
FROM PHONE TO
ENTRY POINT
The models 1816 and 1820 telephone intercom systems do not require a dedicated Central Office
(C.O.) phone line to establish communication between a lobby panel and a resident’s telephone.
These systems offer outstanding features that allow the resident to be in charge of their calls and
can interface with up to 1200 phone lines. Ideally suited for apartment buildings, college resident
halls, high rise condominiums, office buildings, and public housing authority projects where
controlling access into the building is an essential part of a security program.
The 1820 system is identical to the 1816 but also provides residents with an enhanced call down
feature. By pressing just two buttons on their touch-tone telephone, the resident is connected
directly to the Doorman or Concierge (or any other station designated as the call down station)
without having to dial a 7- or 10-digit number.
